Men: How should you introduce someone you are dating…but not yet exclusive?

Dear Faithmate Ethics Advisor,

How should you introduce someone you are dating who is not your girlfriend?  I have been on about 10 dates with a woman and we were at a concert and I had to introduce her.  I called her “my friend” and she got mad.

As a Christian, what would you do and why?

Faithmate’s Ethics Advisor says…

You know the saying, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”…or introduced as a “friend” when she is really more.  I understand that you only said “friend” for lack of a more appropriate term; but in her mind, you downgraded her role.  At any rate, the next time you find yourself in this situation, don’t stress.  Your relationship to the woman you are with is no one’s business but your own; simply introduce her by name: “Larry, this is Leticia.”

Of course, this is just one opinion!  As a Christian, do you agree or disagree?  Post your comments below…

How long should you date someone and they recieve a title. If you going on 6months is this still friend. I believe God desire man to enter in a relationship with the mind of it growing into marraige. I think if a man date one calling another and emailing, texting someone else and all the women think they are the only one he should be considered a playar and he will never desire to give a title to quickly. On the other hand after 10 dates some women already have a dress and a wedding date.
