I believe that getting oneself together should be on ongoing process not just for meeting that “right” person. I further believe that in order to carry out the purpose for which we were created to the excellence that is required, we must be in process continually. It is unfortunate that the only time we see the value in this is when we want something from God, namely a mate. Our lives should reflect our growth and progress. The rest will follow.

Thank you for that, Morah. I share that with you. I, too have been celibate for many years. God has kept me. There is much joy in being kept for that special person but more importantly, we are kept for God. When we are celibate, my experience is,I am “clear” to hear from God without sinful actions within my body. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

“My people are lost for a lack of knowledge.” I have been “celibate” and very serious about this walk in my life as of this comment, due to the fact knowing that “YAH” has my gift for me and,confident in my personal relationship with “Him,” I am together as “you say,” to recieve the greatest gift “YAh” has for me. I learned through Wisdom,early in my life experiences that ,man belong to “YAh” and not to woman, and woman belong to the man “YAH” give her to, therfore waiting in celibacy is one the greatest accomplishment of obeidience to the “spirit control” of flesh I am experiencing as of this comment, june 20, 2009, 12:44 p,m, est. “Thanks for listening”.
